I'm Angela Soley, a marriage and family therapist with a deep appreciation for the complexity of being human.
What I love most about this work is the opportunity to understand people beyond their symptoms or struggles—to appreciate their histories, relationships, strengths, and the circumstances that have shaped their lives.
I bring curiosity, warmth, and thoughtful clinical care to my work, with respect for the individuality of every person I meet.
The path that brought me here.
My professional path has been guided by a desire to understand people and contribute to their well-being. I began by studying Diplomacy and World Affairs, with early experiences in humanitarian work and community organizing, including with UNICEF.
My interests eventually led me toward more direct forms of care. I trained in massage therapy and yoga before pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in trauma.
These experiences have shaped my appreciation for the many dimensions of human well-being—from our relationships and environments to the connections between mind and body. Today, I bring this interdisciplinary perspective to my work as a psychotherapist.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy exploring different cultures and perspectives through travel, film, literature, and movement.
Hello, I'm Angela.
Grounded in training. Committed to learning.
My education and professional development span clinical psychology, trauma, attachment, parts work, somatic therapies, relationships, and mind-body practices. I value rigorous clinical training and continued learning across disciplines, bringing a broad perspective to the individual needs of each client.
